There have been rumors for months and Now Time Warner Cable in NYC has brought quite a few new HD channels to it’s listings. The odd thing is that these channels came with no big advertising or pomp. The just suddenly appeared. Perhaps they want to work out all the kinks first and then start advertising that they are better than satellite and Fios.

The new Channels include CNNHD, Food Network HD, HGTV HD, Hallmark HD, Animal Planet HD and more. No SciFi HD yet The channels should work already. If you are having problems you may want to reboot your Cable Box by pressing and holding the power button till the word “boot” come on or by unplugging the Box for 10 seconds.
